Herbert Terry & Sons Model 90 Anglepoise Lamp, Circa 1970's

In 1932, British automotive engineer George Carwardine invented the formula for a new kind of spring mechanism. This elegant and responsive invention, which could be positioned at any angle with the lightest touch, would work perfectly in a lamp.

This rare white example of the Model 90 is becoming harder to find. As a British made design classic, the lamp has been striped down, cleaned and rewired back to its former glory.

Our lamp has been re-wired with its original lamp holder and press switch. It is in a great condition for its age. Some marks and dents here and there as seen in photos, these are commensurate with age and in our opinion, add to the lamps history and charm of this design classic.

As a vintage item, this may show signs of age related wear.
