Original Green Enamelled Downlighters by MAXLUME, Circa 1940s
A run of four enamelled downlighters by Maxlume, in original green enamel with their original galleries. Each shade has the makers mark: "Maxlume Overlamp Reflector" embossed to its side.
Salvaged from the iconic Bamber Bridge Spinning Mill before it was demolished.
All four pendants have their original "Maxlume" porcelain E27 lamp holder and have been rewired with 100cm of black braided cable.
Each light has been sympathetically restored by our team. The lights do show some signs of wear, rust and enamel loss as seen in photos. This is commensurate with their age and does not detract from the lights at all.
