Double Sided Will's Cigarettes Enamel Sign c.1930s

Original double-sided enamel advertising sign for Will’s “Capstan” and "Gold Flake" Cigarettes — striking bold red and black lettering. Once a flange sign for a tobacconist’s shopfront (the flange section now missing), it still displays beautifully as a standalone decorative piece but could easily be adapted for wall mounting. A superb, graphic example from the golden age of tobacco advertising.

Condition Report

The original flange section is missing, but the sign still stands well on its own or could easily be adapted to hang on a wall. There is some enamel loss and rusting in places, fully consistent with age and use — adding to the character and story of this iconic piece of advertising history.
