Vintage SNCF Railway Floor Lamp, c.1980s

A striking converted French SNCF railway floor lamp from the 1980s. Featuring a heavy pedestal base, polished metal finish with brass detailing, and its original Holophane Fresnel lens. Recently rewired with several metres of thick grey 3-core cable and a brass lamp holder, enhancing its industrial character.

Condition Report

The lamp is in great overall condition. As an industrial piece, any surface markings are consistent with age, use, and its utilitarian character. Solid and weighty, with a polished finish that presents beautifully.
