Early Hadrill & Horstmann Pluslite Industrial Task Lamp | Original Condition

An early Hadrill & Horstmann Pluslite task lamp retaining its original magnifying lens and virtually all of its original hardware, including the correct screws, bolts and knurled adjustment nuts.

Originally designed as a precision inspection and drawing lamp, the Pluslite has become one of the most recognisable pieces of British industrial lighting. Its articulated arm, adjustable lens and unmistakable silhouette make it every bit as sculptural as it is practical.

Condition Report

The lamp have been sympathetically rewired and is fully working. The original finish has been preserved throughout, with only the honest signs of use expected from lamps of this age.

All of our items are genuine original pieces and as such will show signs of age and use. We believe these signs of wear — from patina to minor imperfections — are part of each item's story and character. While we restore, clean and check every piece to ensure it’s ready for many more years of use, we don't over-restore or attempt to erase its history.
