Ercol Windsor Model 469 Serving / Drinks Cabinet, c.1970s

A great example of Ercol’s Model 469 Serving Cabinet, part of the Windsor range and made in England from solid elm.

Originally designed as a mobile serving cabinet, the 469 also works perfectly as a drinks cabinet or compact bureau. The fall-front upper section opens to form a useful serving or writing surface, with divided shelving inside. Below is a double-door cupboard with internal shelf and a generous lower drawer.

Finished in Ercol’s darker stain, with beautifully figured elm throughout, recessed oval handles and the original castors.

Condition Report

Great overall vintage condition, with some light marks, knocks and surface wear here and there as expected with age and use. The cabinet presents very well overall, with a good consistent finish and no major damage. The doors, drawer and fall-front all open and close as they should, and the original castors remain in place.
