A classic Herbert Terry Anglepoise Model 1227 desk lamp in its original scumble paint finish.

Featuring the iconic two-tier articulated arm, original shade and cast iron base embossed with the Herbert Terry maker's details. The original scumble finish gives the lamp plenty of character and is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

A great example of one of Britain's most recognisable industrial designs. Equally suited to a desk, bedside table or workshop setting.

Condition Report

In good original condition. There is paint loss, chipping and wear to the original scumble finish throughout, all commensurate with age and use and very much in keeping with the lamp's industrial character. Rewired with bronze braided flex and fitted with a BC B22 bayonet lamp holder. Overall, a great honest example with plenty of character.
