Strips Table Lamp by Preben Jacobsen & Flemming Brylle, Denmark 1960s

An original ‘Strips’ table lamp designed by Preben Jacobsen & Flemming Brylle for Quality System, Denmark, c.1960s.

Made from layered white PVC rings (strips) held within a smoked acrylic frame, creating a soft diffused light when illuminated. A great piece of 1960s Danish lighting and a rare design to find in the original table lamp version.

Condition Report

In good overall vintage condition. All original acrylic strips and the smoked acrylic frame are present. There are some scratches and general signs of age to the frame, as expected for a lamp of this age, but these do not effect the lamp or detract from it at all. Wired with its flicker switch and in good working order. A lovely original example.
